The BBC’s hit series “Back In Time for Dinner” is heading North as one Canadian foodie family is taking on a dramatic social experiment. Over the course of the series, their own home will become a virtual time machine as they eat their way through 70 years of Canadian history. As they shop, chop and cook their way through the experiment, they’ll experience first hand the economic, political, technological and social transformation of Canada from 1940 to today.

This is our National Identity served on a plate. Canadian history has never been so mouthwatering!

Would you and your family like to take part in a unique and unforgettable social history experiment in your own home?

We are looking for a family with 2-3 children ages 8 to 19, interested in learning about Canadian culture and food from the 1940s to the present day.

If you would enjoy the chance to show your children how family life and mealtimes have changed, we would love to hear from you.
